"Come on baby, let's make art" is written as graffiti on one of Oliver's paintings >BABY< // and would also be a good title for his body of work. Oliver presents his works fresh, playful, and filled with humor and irony. Externally one can assign his spectrum of art to geometric-concrete art, street art, and art informel, but this assignment is just superficially. The actual meaning unfolds through how Oliver Lück describes his work: "I hope you see and find something that will bring you joy and make a good figure on your walls." Rarely does an artist expresses so much respect and recognition toward his audience. In connection with his work, this is not only a pleasant restraint in times of media self-portrayal and thoughtful intellectuality, it frees his work from any attitude and prejudice, so that each work can simply be what it is. A special and honest kind of concrete art.
